PIZZERIA Centro, Baked Delight!!!

Pizzeria Centro is a wonderfull restaurant in Medellin’s city center, it’s structure captivated me, it’s an excellent environment, that transports you to another era.

The secret of this pizzeria is; the base of pizza is baked, then it’s flavor is fantastic, because you can feel the magic of the crunchy. Also, the dough is thin and baked slowly, exposing all flavors of the pizza to the palate in an exquisite mix.
You can even see how they prepare the pizzas, with high quality and a very qualified chef, who knows what he does.

It’s menu is very varied, for all kinds of tastes, including the most refined. On the other hand, an important part is the staff. They will go the extra mile to make you feel at home and it’s fantastic!!

I think that each prepared dish is ideal for each person, I doubt that anyone repents their order and the best thing is the tranquility you feel. You may not stop thinking about every piece of pizza you ate, what makes you want to come back.

Finally, each of its characteristics, make it a very different and pleasant place in any way, go visit it and do not thank me if you fall in love, just like me.

 Crepes and Waffles 

All of its locations have a quiet and calm enviroment, they have faint lighting, and some of them have balconies with an opened view to the city. The styling of the place has a retro feeling with some contemporary details 



Its food has two principal parts, one is full of a diversed menu of crepes. They can have chicken or vegetables, and also ice-cream waffles with fruits, and other part has several kinds of desserts such as ice-cream waffles with fruits, and others. It is not too cheap


For us it is a wonderful  place to go with our friends and have a nice time chatting and exploring new kinds of flavors, from hot to sweet. Also, we like their social service to the community employing only women. The service it's ok thinking in the amount of clients they have to serve.

Los Molinos' Subway has a small but enough space to make the activities that the restaurant needs, also guarantees a fresh and cool place since it has different kind of plants.

Food doesn't lose against the environment that the restaurant propose. Subway provides a service focused on the user preferences, that's easy to notice since the user has the possibility to choose from a variety of food in order to find the masterpiece.

The experience of make a combination of all kind of ingredients to make your perfect food is absolutely awesome. Also, the plants are very refreshing for the environment and you feel good there.

Betty's Bowls Cafe





In the city of Medellin, there is a "Superfood Oasis", we are not overdoing, it’s called Betty's Bowls and it's a pretty famous cafe at the barrio El Poblado, and the owners are two friendly sisters who carry on the family tradition of being a chef. They owe their beginnings to Doña Betty, their beloved grandmother, a passionate cook who left them the legacy of love, care, cooking, and happiness that they always put into every creation.In her honor, Betty's Bowls is an explosion of colors, flavors, love and happiness that are merged into healthy food.

Betty's Bowls have one of the most complete healthy menus at the city, you can find Toasts with salad, Bowls with Granola, Fresh Juices, Luladas with love (some vodka in your lulada), various type of Coffee, and Drinks.

In our visit, we had the cheese toast (even better with avocado) and banana toast, the acai bowl and a lulada, everything was spectacular!
They understand the responsibility that we have with food and mother earth, for this reason, they promote the NO use of plastics. All the plates, bowls, silverware, etc are compostable, the give you filtered water rather than sell your bottled water.



We also love their focus on the environment, the area is very nice to hang out, chill and relax from the bustling city and offers the possibility of booking a room by the connection with the Yolo Hostel. In that place, you can find too many types of people from different places in the world, the majority of native English speakers and you can even take your pet with you.


The price range is quite surprising, it goes from 3000 to 15000 COP, really cheap respect to the quality of service, then if you are near Parque Lleras, don't ask yourself for any other options, let's visit Betty's Bowls,
It’s easy to get the address, in less than 10 minutes by walking straight the Calle 10 then turning right by the Carrera 32d and you'll find "the oasis", which opens its doors from Monday to Friday 8:00a.m. - 5:30p.m and Sunday and Holidays 8:00a.m. - 2:00p.m.

Sport town

SPORT TOWN

The restaurant is located near to laureles second park. It's one floor place, it's long, it's fresh and use a lot of orange color in their decoration.

The only food that they have is hamburger, this hamburger are pretty big because use a lot of ingredients like double or triple meat, cheese , bacon. Etc.
Their slogan is " all fatness".

It was incredible, no one expects the size and flavor of the hamburgers, another thing that we like it, is that while we wait they bring us game like UNO and stop.

We recomendet this restaurante because it's a familiar place, it's a safe zone, the food is good and the workers are friendly.
Don't lose the opportunity to visit that place.

This restaurant is located at Ciudad del Rio. It is a wonderful place to rest from tiring days.

The restaurant has a camping stylish in a huge place with so much nature around it, where you can get connect with music and environment. In this place you can take your dog since they sell dog's food, so you can take a fun dinner with your whole family.

This place is well-known because the great taste of the food and the beautiful decoration that brings a soft aura where you can enjoy your meal without being concerned about if there is too much pollution.

In this place you can find the delicious food called "picada" that it becomes in the greatest option if you are interested in having dinner with more than 3 people, because it contains different types of meat, potatoes and sausages. And the most important thing is about it is not an expensive option if you want a good dinner.

We had the opportunity to choose the picada because it was the most affordable option since we went there with our families. Everybody enjoyed the food because it had a great taste and we all get full once we finish.

One of the most important things about this place is the location because it became a central spot according to one of the most famous places in the city nowadays.

We taught the food wasn't that expensive since we went there with our families and everyone had the opportunity to give money. That is an affordable option to enjoy a delicious dinner without having to pay a lot of koney for that amount of people.

FRISBY

FRISBY





I'm going to talk about Frisby la playa, because i was there few weeks ago.

It all starts in 1977, when Alfredo Hoyos Mazuera and Liliana Restrepo Arenas inaugurate in the city of Pereira the first pizzeria called FRISBY, causing a sensation in the citizens. A few days later we sought to find new products to offer, and that is how breaded chicken arrives as an option on the menu. This is the first time that chicken is found in a breaded preparation in Colombia. This became the product most requested by customers and the sales icon of the chain. In 1978, the opening of new points in different cities of the Coffee Axis began due to its proximity to the city of origin. In 1987, the first stores in Bogotá and in 1990 in Medellín. That´s why i just consider that frisby is one o the most important restaurants or places where you can eat.

The menu is so good because they have a lot of options to choose and satisfy the tastes (i have to mention that if the person is vegetarian there is a "light line" in which you can find four types of salads and the salads does not exceed 20,000 Colombian pesos), to Chicken-lovers, there are too many options with which to be sated, besides there are options to feed the smallest of the house.


The atmosphere there (Frisby las playas) is a bit noisy, because we have ti say that it is almost in the middle of the downtown, however, the place is spacious, pleasant, comfortable, a place where you can go with family, friends, couples, etc. The service is a bit slow (the same as in all its restaurants) and sometimes food can't take too long but the wait is worth it and is a bit chaotic, because with those devices that vibrate and make noises it is a bit annoying when people don't answer the call, because they make orders take a little longer , but apart from that it is all very good, there is an enormous calm (as long as there is not a child next to yo crying, that is very stressful and it happened to me once), but i'll have to say that the place needs more ventilation because al you know, we are in Medellin and with this climate change, the heat becomes unbearable.


The prices are not at all high and considering the quality of the food, the truth is that it is not sad to pay a little more for a good service, besides that as mentioned above, there are options for everyone in the house, that includes Children, who have a wide variety of products (but not only for them, but also for the older ones, because we all like to be children once again) that make them a gastronomy (as for fried chicken ) unique in Medellin leaving behind the competition, such as Kokoriko chickens.

I just forgot, but I'll mention that there are places where you can find some games for children and there are also event rooms for birthdays and things like that (very special momets for kids).


It is an excellent experience because there you can relax your mind with those who you love most and for no one it is a secret that this is happiness, being well with others and with yourself.

Crepes and Waffles 

we went to crepes and waffles to have dinner and spend time with friends.we were lucky because we didn't have to wait too long to get in, they usually have long lines. we got a quite fast service, but it doesn't really matter if you have to wait a little bit more, because you really get distracted being delighted with the golden and abstract-modern concept of decoration. 

we ordered a Mexican crepe and a strawberry waffle...yeah, the variety of the menu is remarkable. Something specially good is the fact that you know the food they are giving to you is truly fresh food, because the restaurant has an open kitchen concept, so you can see the chefs while they are cooking your meal. 

the price was a way too high for the taste of the food, therefore in the bill we decided not to give them tips and the waitress immediately looked so annoyed and became rude, then we felt forced to give them tips. it was just a good experience because of the atmosphere and the food, but the staff  can be very rude in relation with the tip.

Crepes & Waffles

It's the most important restaurant in Medellín. It's no actually a restaurant, but a chain of these, and every single one of them is pretty good.
The menu is very rich in flavors, it has Hindu food, Arab food, Thai food, Mexican food, Colombian food and a lot of other types of food, as the objective of the restaurant it's to pick the best of the world's cuisine.
When it comes to desserts, C&W it's one of the best at it in Colombia, with a wide variety of ice creams and waffles.

The atmosphere in the restaurants at first look it's appealing and gives you the urge to enter. The lighting it's on point and warm, but sometimes, especially in lunch and dinner time, the restaurant becomes very noisy and you got to make line to grab a table because a lot of people go there.

The service is amazing, and in C&W only work women heads of household and they are lovely and very gentle.

Sometimes food can't take too long but the wait is worth it.

It's not that expensive if you compare it to other restaurants in the city and that's way so many people go there, because it's a great pick to do when you got a special event or a meeting.

C&W it's a great experience, it's affordable and it has wonderful food. The service is one of the best and the atmosphere is generally quiet, soft and warm. But don't go in lunchtime or dinner, because you'll have to wait to get a table, there's too much noise and your food can take a while.
